Portrait Session FAQs
Q - I DON'T HAVE MUCH LINGERIE, WOULD I STILL BE ABLE TO DO A SESSION?
A - Absolutely! In fact, I think some of the simplest outfits turn out to be the best ideas. We will go over outfit choices during your consultation and decide what is best for you and your style, your theme, or how outside the box you want to go.
Q - CAN I BRING SOMEONE WITH ME?
A - Of course, you can. I do recommend just one person and I also recommend you pick carefully. I won't need anyone helping me pose you, 30 years of experience there, and it needs to be someone who won't distract you for the feel you want to portray in your art images. Also, if we are on location, make sure they are good to walk a lot, lol. Please let me know ahead of time if you are bringing someone, thank you.
Q - I do not look like the women on your website. Is a boudoir shoot for me?
A - Of course! The women you see on my website are just everyday women and are not models. My photo shoots are for any woman, any shape, size, color, and age. You are beautiful just the way you are and I want to prove it to you.
Q - Posing is not my strong point, will you help with that?
A - Yes, and in truth, no one is good at posing until they are. I will pose you in the best possibly way for you, your limits, and your personality. Everyone is different, it's my job to listen to you and pose you accordingly. You don't have to worry about "modeling", everyone I work with are just normal every day people, just like you.
Q - Do you offer couples sessions?
A - Yes, no worries. I love including your other in the entire process, if possible. Intimate couples sessions are a beautiful way to connect with your other.
Q - Do you retouch the images?
A - Yes, as needed. I won't edit so much that you are unrecognizable, but if you have something you would like touched up, I'd be happy to do so. Otherwise, I will touch up anything that is a distraction from you, the focus of the beauty we will be showing off.
Q - Do you offer wine or champagne?
A - No, per my insurance, that is unfortunately something I cannot offer to my clients. You chose to bring some along, please remember that it can affect the way your eyes focus. Moderation is key so you don't look drunk or high... never a good look.
Q - Do you have a studio or do you shoot on location?
A - All of my session are shot on location so that I can give you the most unique experience you can have for your session, I schedule sessions in client homes, on location in nature, the best airbnb and hotels in the area. The ideas are almost endless, spiral stair case, log cabins, pools or hotties, billiards.... During your consultation, we will make that decision for what is best for you and the look you want.
Q - How much of an investment are we talking about?
A - It's hard to say, as everyone is looking for something different. However, depending on location, art work, books, and images, the average is $700 - $2000. During your consultation we can narrow that down for you and your keep you within your budget.
Q - HOW LONG WILL MY SESSION LAST AND HOW MANY OUTFITS CAN I HAVE?
A - Most sessions take between an hour or two. However, as long as there isn't a scheduling conflict, we will create art as long as it takes to get something we can be proud of. Conflicts rarely happen, as I don't schedule back to back on purpose, just for this reason. Also, you can bring as many outfits as we can work in without feeling repetitive. We will have this number nailed down during our consultation.
Q - DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS?
A - I do indeed. Hit me up and we will work it out. It's rare I can't make a budget work. Also, if you are a first responder, or immediate family of one, I'd be honored to offer a discount.
Q - CAN I RESCHEDULE IF I NEED TO?
A - Yes, as long as proper notice is given, I'm happy to reschedule. However, down payments are not transferrable and not refundable. I know how life can throw us curve balls and I'm here to make it a little less stressful.
Q - WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY?
A - Deposits are not refundable. Monies paid toward prints, books, or wall art are refundable until the order has been placed. Once that happens, no refunds are available. We will work through all that during your image reveal.
Q - I'M READY TO BOOK, WHAT DO I DO FIRST?
A - Excellent! You won't regret it. In all my years behind a camera, I've never had anyone walk away unhappy, you won't be the first.
